Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 on Windows Server 2008 – This Program is blocked due to compatibility issues
This is an error that you will get if you’re trying to install MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2008 R2. Reason is it requires the Service Pack 2 of Sharepoint Server 2007 and the standard installation always comes with Service Pack 1 only.
